Your Excellency,

We are very concerned to hear about the arrest and condemnation of Pastor Wang Xiaoguang, Pastor Yang Rongli, Yang Caizhen, Yang Hongzhen, Su Xing and Li Shuangping. All the prisoners are members of Fushan Church Community in Linfen City, Shanxi Province.

They practiced their religion by holding church services at a factory building and thus made use of their right to religious liberty, a human right guaranteed by the UN. In the wake of an illegal police incursion into their community premises, they sought to meet with the central authorities in Beijing. Instead, they were arrested.

As a matter of urgency, we ask you to secure the release of these six Christian prisoners.

Nous sommes très préoccupés par l’arrestation et la condamnation du pasteur Wang Xiaoguang, de la pasteure Yang Rongli, ainsi que de Yang Caizhen, Yang Hongzhen, Su Xing et Li Shuangping. Tous les prisonniers sont membres de l’église Fushan à Linfen, dans la province du Shanxi.

Ils pratiquaient leur religion lors de services tenus dans une fabrique. Ils faisaient ainsi usage de leur droit à la liberté religieuse, un droit humain garanti par l’ONU. A la suite d’une incursion policière illégale dans leurs locaux, ils ont cherché à rencontrer les autorités centrales à Pékin. Au lieu de cela, ils ont été arrêtés.

Nous vous prions instamment de faire libérer ces six prisonniers chrétiens.
